Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how RustCommander uses cookies and similar browser storage on rustcommander.app and panel.rustcommander.app. The same consent preference is shared across both sites so your choice on one applies to the other.

1. Shared Consent Cookie

RustCommander stores your cookie preference in a first-party cookie named rustcommander_cookie_consent. In production it is scoped to .rustcommander.app, which lets the landing website and the portal read the same preference.

Name Purpose Type Duration
rustcommander_cookie_consent Stores whether you accepted all cookies or only necessary cookies. Necessary, first-party Up to 24 months

2. Necessary Storage

Necessary cookies and browser storage support account login, session handling, security, payment checkout state, and remembering your consent choice. These are required for the Service to work and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.

3. Optional Cookies

RustCommander does not currently load advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If optional analytics or product telemetry are added in the future, they will only be enabled when your shared consent value is set to “Accept all”.

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies during embedded checkout and payment confirmation. RustMaps, Discord, and other external links are governed by their own cookie and privacy policies when you visit them.

5. Changing Your Choice

You can clear the rustcommander_cookie_consent cookie in your browser to make the banner appear again. You can also manage or block cookies from your browser settings, although blocking necessary storage may prevent login or payment features from working correctly.
